Altering a round wreath die into a heart for valentines day

Hi all, first thank you for all you lovely emails and comments as we celebrated our houseboat Christmas and our marriage re-commitment its was all a very special time for us.
So my first post for 2012 is a valentine card. I bought a grapevine wreath die from memory box and it came too late to play with for Christmas, I got to thinking how to use this for other occasions and came up with this heart idea. Very easy to alter just by making 2 cuts at opposite sides and gluing then back together at different angles. To finish the card I added a rolled rose covered with glitter and a heart leaf, I also coloured with a permanent marker some diamonds and placed then around the wreath...... the video shows all the details...enjoy!

Blessings to you

and a last thought

I have written to you who are God's children because you know the Father. I have written to you who are mature in the faith because you know Christ, who existed from the beginning. I have written to you who are young in the faith because you are strong. God's word lives in your hearts, and you have won your battle with the evil one.
1 John 1:14

Wonderful flower, love that wreath, have just ordered it, I can't get over how many wonderful dies that Memory box has come out with recently, also got a few good ones from Poppystamps, they have a wonderful window die, also trying to get another window die from OurDailyBread's web site, it has been b/o for over a month. Anyway, love your work and check your blog daily!!
Thanks for everything and Happy New Year.

Where do you order the MemoryBox Dies? I checked their www site and they said I had to order from a store. The store that they list near us does not carry their line even though MemoryBox lists them.

Hi Valita,
This is wonderful! I have this die and bought it actually to use it for a bird's next. I made the most gorgeous cards with a nest...just snip the wreath once and fold it around itself...one fold at 1", then continue folding it around itself and it makes the BEST birds' next you could ever imagine!! If you come up with more ideas, I would LOVE to see them!
